Patty has been interested in artistic endeavors for most of her life. After graduating from the University of Texas, she taught in the public school system until her retirement. Continuing with her art endeavors, she began teaching art at the adult level and selling her work. Patty and her husband Adair, travel around the country teaching and showing their art. Adair is an accomplished woorcvarver and together they design and sell original Santas. They show their Santas on the web at www.christmascarvingsetc.com. Visit their website to see their variety of original Santas and Christmas carvings. They have many collectors that visit with them every fall to see what new creation they have come up with.

Patty is an expert sculpture and she sculpts many of their new pieces in clay before they are hand-carved out of wood.
